Stampede not your thing? Or maybe you just need a day off of mini-doughnuts, well there’s a new festival in town, that might be right up your alley!

iHeartRadio Canada is heading west for the first time on Saturday, July 8 at Shaw Millennium Park with the inaugural iHeartRadio WestFest. The event features performances by some of the hottest names in music including Fifth Harmony, Hedley, Iggy Azalea,Massari, Midland, Noah Cyrus, Ruth B, Scott Helman, and Virginia to Vegas.

We don’t usually get pop-friendly festivals here in Calgary, so I’m excited about this line-up. I hope it’s a big hit and something that continues to grow. The other cool thing is the venue.  It’s not in the middle of a field somewhere. It’s right on the edge of downtown, making it easy to walk, bike and train too. You won’t be stuck in hours of traffic, you can just go and have a good time!

iHeartRadio WestFest is an all ages festival and tickets start from $77.

But I have some good news! This is your chance to win two 2 VIP tickets (valued at $332)!  The VIP passes ensure that you have an amazing experience and come with:

-Dedicated separate entrance to venue
– An exclusive VIP area with great views to the stage
– Private cash bar with a larger drink selection
– Premium Restroom Facilities (this is the most important thing ever.)
– Picnic tables and shaded seating options
– Premium food truck options
– Chance to win Meet & Greet

To be entered in the contest, head to the comments section and tell me which iHeartRadio WestFest artist you’d like to pull you up on stage and what song would you sing with them?

Contest closes July 4th!

If you just want to go ahead and buy your VIP tickets, they have a deal on right now, that’s buy three tickets, get the forth for free. Pretty easy way to save some money among friends.

  1. IGGY! And I think most of her songs… but I’m feelin fancy so let’s go with that one 😉

  2. Hedley, HELLO, because I think we all feel alone sometimes, and it’s nice knowing, I’m not special when it comes to feeling lonely. Hedley is amazing and even more amazing live, I have seen them 3 times but never that close up. I would do anything to see another show, including driving to Cowtown. 🙂
From Edmonton, but my secret passion is Calgary.

  3. Definitely would love to get down to Fifth Harmony’s new song, “Down”, with the girls!
