If you’ve ever lived in a poorly made apartment, the sound of stomping usually isn’t a great thing.

Well you haven’t heard stomping like this before!

Stomp is explosive, inventive, provocative, witty, and utterly unique—an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages. The international percussion sensation has garnered armfuls of awards and rave reviews and has appeared on numerous national television shows.

The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments—matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps—to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms. Year after year, audiences worldwide keep coming back for more of this pulse-pounding electrifying show.

And guess what, Stomp is coming to Calgary! It runs from January 17th to 19th, 2017 at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium! Tickets are on sale now and make a wonderful Christmas gifts. (Hint, hint!)

It so happens that I have two tickets to give away to Opening Night!

To enter, head to the comments section and tell me what three things from your kitchen you’d use to make a song.

Contest closes on November 25th.

  1. I have a stovetop popcorn popper that has a wonderful tinny hand drum sound to it. Id also use a Split pea filled mason jar as a maraca, and metal knives on a wood cutting board/countertop.

  2. Hmmm….wine bottle opener makes a pleasing sound, that’s one, my whisk, and my Pampered Chef chopper ( if you own one) , you’ll understand, that’s three!
