Millions of people woke up this morning wondering how the hell Avatar lost Best Picture. Those same people are also probably wondering what The Hurt Locker is in the first place.

Simply put, The Hurt Locker is the most riveting, exciting and stressful movie I’ve ever seen. Having seen it over two months ago, not a single day goes by that I don’t think about it. I left the movie feeling nauseous, for all the right reasons.

Avatar was a movie that changed cinema, which is impressive. But was it the Best Picture? If Pocahantas wasn’t, neither was Avatar.
