Coronation Street is one of the world’s longest running shows. And here in Canada, it’s one of the most popular. Yes, despite being on the air for more than 56 years, the show continues to enjoy a loyal and passionate fanbase.
One of the show’s biggest fans happens to be the one and only Rick Mercer. So minutes before he went to air with the Rick Mercer Report, I got a chance to talk to him about why he loves the show. He also drops some pretty good Corrie factoids is well. I had no idea what the black cabs meant…
