2012 was a pretty incredible year for Canadian indie band Walk off the Earth and it looks like 2013 is going to be pretty much the same.

Last year, the band became an internet sensation when their stunning cover of Gotye‘s “Somebody I Used to Know” broke records and racked up more than 143 million views online. In fact, the video, which featured the band all playing one guitar, helped propel Gotye himself, who had already seen the song stall. It was revived when curious YouTubers searched out the original version of WOTE’s cover.

But it’s a new year and on January 1st, the band posted an a cappella cover of Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble.” In less than a week, the video has been watched almost one million times! And with reason, the vocal ability of this band is seriously remarkable and this video just highlights their already very obvious talents. It’s so good, you almost forget what the original sounds like.

But what’s the point in just reading about it? Have a listen and you’ll what I mean.
