If you’ve visited Calgary in the past two years, you may have noticed a giant structure being built.
It’s called The Bow and for a while it looked like a set piece from that movie District 9. Now, with the building completed, it’s a stunning edition to the ever-growing Calgary skyline. Not only is it beautiful, it’s also HUGE.Here are some fast numbers for you:-58 floors (Tallest in Western Canada)
-Three gardens
-1,7 million sq ft of office space
-900,000 sq ft of glass.
Like, I said, it’s huge.
Which makes this time lapse video of the Bow being built even more impressive. The pictures were taken by Larry Lee a Nokia Xpressmusic 5310 cellphone from March 2009 to November 2011.
The video is crazy cool, although I suggest you watch it with the audio turned down. Nothing ruins a cool video like annoying music.
Welcome to Calgary, The Bow. You’re beautiful.
