Here’s a really cool video of the staff at the Halifax’s Museum of Natural History putting together one of the most perfect samples of a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton that’s ever been preserved.  The video is time lapsed so that the four day assembly actually looks like it only took less than a minute!

As a maritimer myself, it’s great to see that the Halifax museum was the first museum in Canada to secure the skeleton valued at over $8 Million.  Which to be honest is quite surprising, I totally would have that it would have been worth more than that.  Maybe if Justin Bieber touched it.

The display opened this weekend in Halifax and will be there until mid-May, unless the city has an unforeseen explosion…..what?  Too soon?
