It was late Sunday night when I saw this tweet from entertainment news website The Wrap:
VIDEO: Billy Bob Thornton Talks Filming in the Frozen #Fargo Tundra http://t.co/iznfdg5ozg

Knowing that “tundra” the tweet refers to is Calgary, the city I call home, I immediately got nervous. Let’s just say ever since this…BBT makes me nervous.
So I cautiously clicked play and watched this video:
As it turns out, it wasn’t that bad. I don’t know what it is about celebrity, but there’s always something cool about when a famous actor acknowledes the city that you pay taxes in actually exists. And you know what, BBT isn’t wrong, Calgary can be a pretty cold city, especially around the time they were shooting Fargo. I mean, they needed a place that looked like a frozen tundra. You can’t deny that.
I still haven’t gotten a chance to see Fargo, but everyone seems to love it. Have you? Am I missing out or can I just go an explore the frozen tundra on my own.
