It was definitely a busy night in Calgary last night! After the FFWD Awards, I headed over to the sold out Timeraiser event. In case you don’t know, Timeraiser is a once a year event where people bid volunteer hours, instead of money, on local art. It’s always a great evening and last night was no exception.
When the evening was all said and done, Calgarians had donated more that 3600 volunteer hours to local organizations like Calgary Reads and Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
Timeraiser events take place all over the country, so make sure you check out their site and see when there will be one on in your neck of the woods!
