The weather outside might be frightful, but that doesn’t mean this weekend cannot be delightful.

Here are three ways to get in the holiday spirit, all while shopping and supporting local businesses!

Market Collective
After weeks of uncertainly, Market Collective has finally found a new home along International Ave. Over the next three weekends, more than 200 artists and musicians will occupy an old car dealership and offer up some of the most amazing finds, guaranteed to put a serious dent into your Christmas list. I’ve always loved Market Collective because it makes shopping and supporting local cool, but it doesn’t have to break the bank either. If you’ve never been, go and see what all the buzz is about it. Just typing about it gets me excited!

East Village Christmas Market
This weekend, the historic Simmons Building in the East Village is playing host to a Christmas sure to please everyone in your family…even Scrooge. Stop by Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm for crafts, vintage apparel, alpaca wool products, photo booth, art, home made goodies, cream puffs, YYC Food Trucks, music, jewelry, pottery, all natural beauty products, cheese making kits, holiday wreaths, handmade designer children’s clothing & items, hair clips and more! In case you missed that, FOOD TRUCKS. Seriously, I stalk them. Admission to the market is a donation towards the Heartland Agency.

Reindeer Day at Kingsland Farmers Market.
If you thought shopping at a farmer’s market couldn’t get any better, have you ever done it in the presence of real reindeer? This Saturday, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the Kingsland Market is presenting the first ever Calgary Reindeer Day at the Market.

While you are shopping from local vendors and farmers, kids (and hopefully grown ups) can take photos with the six Reindeer and enjoy Hot Chocolate and and other goodies. The proceeds will go to Inn From The Cold and help benefit their Adopt a Family program.

I’ve been using WordPress on numerous websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

I however have got a problem with your leaps in assumptions and you might do nicely to fill in those gaps. When you can accomplish that, I could certainly end up being fascinated.
