>There are many things I am not proud of.  During the writers strike I actually followed One Tree Hill, I still hold out hope that someday I’ll wake up with a full head of hair and I’m still no further on Harry Potter 7 than I was the day after I bought it last July.

This weekend that list got a LOT longer.
Let me explain.  It has been raining in Calgary since last Monday.  Yes, that is right 6 straight days of rain.  I’m not a religious man but I think there might be something in that book of theirs about so much rain.
Either way I, along with thousands of other people, have been trapped in their expensive apartments for most of the weekend.  Sure there are lots of things to do in the Calgary that don’t involve going outside but all of them cost money and unless they also accept canned food items or 3 year old half used shampoo bottles as currency, I am out of luck.
So what do you do with all that time?  Well I don’t know what you would do but I know that I did the following:
-I stayed in my pajamas all day on Saturday.  Like no joke. All day.  I woke up in them and stayed in them.  Truth be told I didn’t even shower or brush my teeth.  There I said it.
-I watched 9 Episodes of Dexter.  Yes, that is indeed 9 hours of television sans commercials.
-I finally watched Dan in Real Life and realized that we are supposed to feel bad for a character who in my books actually had a pretty good life.  If I ever get the chance, I’m totally going to re-analyze my life goals.
-I ate some pita bread that expired 5 days ago.  I am in fact not proud of that.
-I played with my all new Zune!  I downloaded a whole bunch of new songs from the zune website and discovered a whole bunch of new artists.  I’m going to find their myspace pages and share them all with you later this week (don’t forget to go to Chatthreads and win that Amazon gift certificate!  Just enter the number: 1029860026)
-I briefly went down to the Elbow river (2 blocks) to check out the flooded river and take some pictures. I quickly retreated back to my apartment to keep watching Dexter.
-On Friday night, before my hibernation, I went with a friend and checked out Iron Man.  Even though I had no idea what the story was going to be about I really enjoyed.  Robert Downy Jr. seriously rocked the roll.  In case you haven’t seen it make sure you stay until the very very end of the credits.  Apparently myself and only 6 other people new about the secret scene at the end.  Thanks EW.
-I downloaded David Cook‘s first real single.  It’s the cheesy American Idol one called The Time of My Life and it’s the #1 download on Itunes.  He also has his three songs from the Idol finale in the Top 10 as well.  David Archuleta is no where to be found.
-I’m pretty sure I have sore’s on the back of my legs.
So that was my weekend.  Jealous?
