The Truth: Lauren Conrad edition

How is it going?  Long time no chat.  I don’t know if you got my last letter so I just wanted to send another quick note to say hello!  Things seem to be going well for you.  Can you believe how popular The Hills is now?!  crazy.  

Anyway, my roommate and I were watching the show tonight and we got to talking and we wanted to share some important information with you.  You might want to sit down:  Just because someone awknowledges your existence doesn’t mean they love you.  Nor does it mean that you should love them.  Sometimes people are people polite.  Whether it is a friendly hello or agreeing to come to your party.

Also, and I thought you learned this lesson during 2 seasons on Laguna Beach, you have to tell Stephen that you like him.  He obviously can’t tell.  He’s made some poor choices in his life (being on One Tree Hill, breaking up with Hayden Panettiere ).  So he’s proven that if you want him to know something he isn’t going to just guess it.  Yes, he is that stupid. So stop sulking in your ice cream about him when all it would take is you just telling him that you like him.  Yes, it really is that easy.  Every guy likes hearing that they are liked.
