Tis the season to start doing nice things for other people,  for example: Good Earth Coffeehouse and Bakery has cooked up a delicious gingerbread holiday treat in support of Habitat for Humanity.

From November 15th until December 31st, all 27 Good Earth Cafés throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan will sell seasonal packages of fabulous fresh-baked gingerbread families. $1 from the sale of each gingerbread family will go to the local Habitat for Humanity. Each package includes two “adult” cookies and one “child” cookie, and sells for $6.95.
Last year, the yummy cookies were able to raise $2500 for Habitat for Humanity Calgary.

In honour of the holiday initiative, I present the first ever Mike’s Bloggity Blog comic strip:

“It sure sucks being bigger than everyone else, but it does make finding food easier.”

“Oh no!  You eat my kid!  My wife is going to be pissed!”

“Oops my bad.  But hey, at least he is a shoe-in for the inevitable Fugitive remake!”
