I went back and forth in my head whether or not I should post this. After all, S Club 7 really doesn’t have anything to with Canada, except for the fact that there was a year or two, that their shows: Miami 7, LA 7, Hollywood 7, were played on MuchMusic pretty every day, all day. And in grade 12, I was on a bowling team called S Club Strikers.
But then I realized that the original reason I started this blog was to keep track of all the things I liked about pop culture and entertainment, So I wrote it because, I don’t know, in ten years or so, I’ll want to remember that for five glorious minutes S Club 7 reunited and it was, um, well, I don’t know what it was yet. (Maybe you do?)
Tina, Jon, Paul, Hannah, Bradley, Rachel, and Jo reunited earlier this week to help raise funds with BBC Children In Need. Which, obviously is a noble cause. But judging by the video some of our “Clubbers” wanted to be there more than others. Since the group officially disbanded  in 2003, the seven members have done a variety of things, none of which got them the attention of anyone over here in North America.  Unless you count Hannah’s role in Seed of Chucky. Which I do (obviously.)  But a quick browse of Wikipedia shows that they’ve all done okay, but none of them ever really achieved the success they did together (Awwww.) And if I’m being completely honest, I completely forgot about the existence of Tina.
While I loved their brief greatest hits medley, I definitely had a full on panic attack when Jo shouted “Sing it!” I can’t Jo, it’s been eleven years! It was also sort of weird to see them wearing pretty much the same clothes they would have done back then. I mean, we’re the same age (early 30s) and while I don’t know a lot about fashion, but I know not to wear what I was wearing back in 2002. By that I mean both the style and the fashion. Plus their dance moves looked sore. Can I say that? Can I say they looked sore?
But who am I to judge, I’m just happy that we got any reunion at all. And apparently on Monday, November 17th, fans (me) can expect a big announcement! AHHH! Â It’s probably just going to be a U.K tour, but I’ll take it. It’s been a while since I’ve been to England anyway.
Welcome back, S. Club 7. I’ve missed you more than I thought I did.

Tina was the best!!! Always was my favourite and in my opinion the prettiest female in the group. She’s the only one I follow on Instagram lol
