The day is finally here.
CBC’s The Great Radio Song Quest Playlist is finally being unveiled. Loyal readers will remember that my couch was once a contender as a song subject for the playlist, but eventually lost to Alberta’s HooDoos. I can’t help it if it reminded me of the Quebec referendum.
The new Canadian playlist will air today on CBC Radio 2 on the Drive Show at 3:30pm, then it will be available on Itunes for download. I’m so excited for this playlist. Many of you will be getting it for Christmas….I mean….surprise?
Some of the artists you can look forward to hearing include: Oh Susanna, Jay Sparrow, Chantal Kreviazuk, Hawksley Workman, Martha Wainwright, David Myles, Joel Plaskett and Hey Rosetta!
