It was announced today that the National Post would be doing what we all wish we could do and take Monday’s off. Â This summer for nine weeks, the Post will be calling in sick, in order to save some money.
This is probably a good idea since Mondays are normally slow news days and if anything exciting  happens you know that The Ampersand will have it covered, sorry, i’m biased.
  Heck if stopping the newspaper all together means that Canwest keep the E! network, then I would totally be okay with that.  I need my Chelsea Handler and The Soup like a Nickelback fan needs a G.E.D.
On a similar note: Â Do we really need mail every day? Â I’d be fine if I got it every couple of days. Â Wouldn’t this save us a bunch of money?
