The Foo Fighters made their way through Alberta this week, with a sold out show in Calgary and Edmonton, and by all accounts the shows were amazing. Even if lead singer Dave Grohl was still recovering from a broken leg.
But it was the Edmonton concert where something truly amazing happened. Watch the video because it’s seriously just so cool, but basically Grohl was looking for someone in the audience to sing Rush’s Tom Sawyer, which can be a pretty risky thing to do. He eventually landed on a guy named Brian who pretty much kicked ass.  Seriously, can you freaking imagine, one minute you’re sitting in your seat, the next you’re rocking out with one of the world’s greatest rock bands, singing a Rush song?  I get nervous singing in the shower, let alone in front of thousands of people.
Such a cool moment!
While the music might be a bit different, it’s neat that something similar happened to a girl at the West Edmonton Mall a few months ago, when Ed Sheeran interrupted her concert to join her in a duet. If you haven’t seen it, it’s such just great!
