It’s the first weekend of Spring and before the snow starts falling (no, seriously), there are lots of things to do this weekend!
I had Calgary social superstar Mark Hopkins do up a list of his top pick!
What are your plans this weekend?

Ground Zero Theatre presents a brand-new play by Rebecca Northan! The Sisterhood is an elite, underground vigilante group that…
Y’know what? Screw it. This play is called “Kung Fu Panties”. Go see it.
Local Library One Year Anniversary Afternoon Party!

Tucked away in downtown’s Central United Church is one of Calgary’s hidden gems: Local Library. Not to be confused with the Calgary Public Library, LL is an all-ages arts and culture space that, over the past year, has won hearts and awards with its kooky, inclusive events. This weekend’s birthday celebration features four local bands, make-yer-own button and t-shirt stations, video screenings, a game of dodgeball and CAKE!
Cirque de la Symphonie
March 18-19, 2011
Jack Singer Concert Hall
201 8th Ave SE (EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts)

I’m pretty sure you’ve never seen anything like this before – aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers and strongmen performing alongside the full magnificence of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. The “wow” factor for this event is off the charts!
ALSO! This Sunday night, I’m hosting ‘We Should Know Each Other’ #74, with special guest Glenn Taylor, Mayor of Hinton and leadership candidate for the Alberta Party. If you want to meet the man behind the guest-blog (not to mention a bunch of cool Calgarians), please join us!
Wonderful paintings! This is the kind of information that should be shared around the web. Disgrace on the seek engines for no longer positioning this post higher! Come on over and seek advice from my web site . Thanks =)
This web site is really a walk-through for all of the info you wanted about this and didn’t know who to ask. Glimpse here, and you’ll definitely discover it.
Wow! Thank you! I always needed to write on my website something like that. Can I implement a part of your post to my blog?
I like this weblog so much, saved to fav.
You really make it appear really easy along with your presentation but I to find this matter to be actually one thing which I think I would by no means understand. It sort of feels too complicated and extremely broad for me. I’m looking ahead for your next publish, I¦ll attempt to get the grasp of it!
