Being Canadian means that we’re pretty good at talking about how great our country is. But every now and then, it’s nice to have a reminder of how beautiful our country is too. As someone who’s lived on the east coast, downtown Toronto and Calgary, I know that no part of Canada is like the other, which is why I absolutely love this video made by the Canadian Tourism Commission.
Last year, they launched the 35 Million Directors contest and more than 8,000 Canadian submitted videos that totaled more than 65 hours. The videos highlight the many different views of Canada. From a top of a mountain to under the ocean or across the beautiful prairies. Those 65 hours of videos were amazing cut down to a stunning two-minute video.
After watching it, my first thought was, “Wow, there’s so much more of this country I have to see.”
Anyone else wanna plan a cross country road trip?
