Well, this is a crappy way to start a Saturday.
Ever since Taylor Swift released her album “Red” last Monday, I’ve been checking my email incessantly hoping for a tour date announcement. Last year’s Taylor Swift tour left off a lot of cities (including Calgary.) So I was hoping we’d getting a bigger tour in Canada this time around.Well, today is that day and I’m afraid to say that the news isn’t good. T-swizzle announced only three tour dates in Canada. Shockingly, they left Alberta completely off the tour, which is surprising because it’s the most “country” of all provinces.
When she last came to Calgary in 2009, her tour sold out in minutes, so I’m definitely confused, because her profile was pretty small back thing. You’d think she’d want to come back?
Here are the three lucky cities.
June 15: Toronto, Ontario
June 22: Winnipeg, Manitoba
June 29: Vancouver, British Columbia
I have my fingers crossed that she’ll still somehow come to Stampede 2013 and maybe that’s why they haven’t announced it on Taylor Swift’s tour dates yet. If she is performing at Stampede next year, organizers would want to save that announcement all for themselves. So…fingers crossed?
