Man Drake has so many singles out there right now, it’s hard to tell what is new and what is not, but earlier today Canada’s hottest hiphop artist took to his blog to release his new single and announce that a new album will soon be on its way! Huzzah! It’s surprising because it’s only been just over a year since his debut album was released. But hey, new music from Drake is new music from Drake!
The song is called is Marvin’s room and it is mmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllloooooowwwwwwwwwwww. It’s chill, it’s calm and I think it’s all kinds of good. Definitely a little different than what we’re used to from the former Degrassi’er. Maybe now that the hype has died down just a little bit, he’s figuring out what kinda music he really wants to make now that he’s a superstar.
Have a listen for yourself and let me know what you think. I can totally picture myself groovin’ to this tune, with the windows to my Saturn rolled down, waving my hand out in the fresh air.
Drake’s new album will be called Take Care and you can expect it to hit shelves (do we still say that) on October 24th!
