I don’t have the authority to officially call today Super Music Tuesday, but with three big Canadian releases out TODAY, I can’t imagine a more appropriate name.
Chanteuse Jill Barber, edgy sister duo Tegan and Sara and rapper K-os are all releasing new albums today, so hopefully you still have some of that iTunes credit you got in you stocking at Christmas.
Barber’s Chansons will feature twelve covers of francophone songs originating from both Quebec and France.
Calgary natives Tegan and Sara’s Hearthrob has already spawned the hit single Closer and they’ll follow up the release with a cross-country tour in March. If releasing one album wasn’t enough,
K-Os’ Black on Blonde will feature two full lengths albums, each with its own sound and style. The album also happens to packed with guest vocals, including Emily Haines, Sam Roberts, Sebastien Grainger, Travie McCoy and Corey Hart!
