>Just in time for Summer repeats, two brand new Canadian shows are about to hit the airwaves.

The first series stars Gregory Smith (Everwood) as a new cop in Rookie Blue. The Toronto-filmed show’s description sounds just like my life, ” the young group of 20-something officers carry big guns and even bigger emotional baggage.” Okay, just the emotional baggage part. The show’s other recognizable name is Missy Peregrym who has also starred on Reaper and Heroes.

You’ll notice the show used to be called Copper, now it goes by Rookie Blue and it premieres June 24th on Global and ABC.
Call Me Fitz stars the one and only Jason Priestly in what looks to be the second coming of Brandon Walsh. You know, if Brandon Walsh became a used car-salesmen with a substance abuse problem and who had trouble wearing clothes and often had visions of talking bunnies. The show was filmed in Nova Scotia, thus filling the rude and crass void left by The Trailer Park Boys.

Speaking of the Trailer Park Boys. If you’ve really been missing Ricky, Julian and Bubbles, you are in luck. They’ll soon be back on your TVs with their new show: The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Funtime Hour.

Stay tuned for their special announcement:
