There I said it.
I realize this might shock some people because from what I’ve heard this show is right up my alley. But it just never caught on for me, sorta in the same way that The O.C never did either. So for the past several years, I’ve stepped away from every BG conversation, skipped the countless articles that EW wrote about the space show and stopped talking to my friend Erin altogether.
But that all changed this weekend when after hearing all the hype for the series finale that aired this past Friday, I finally decided to start watching the first three season of BG that I bought in Hong Kong for $5 last year.
Because the DVDs are sketchy at best, I’m not really sure where I am in the series. I think I’ve made it through the mini-series as well as the first official episode. It’s enjoyable so far but I’m guess it’s just warming up.
After I make it through BG, I still have the first seasons of Big Love and Six Feet Under on deck. I got them last week at Walmart for only $18.88. Hmmm maybe I wouldn’t mind a couple of more weeks of winter….frak.
