This is possibly the best thing could have happened…ever.
The one and only Shania Twain has just announced that she will be taking up residency in Las Vegas for a total of two whole years. I wanted to put an exclamation point there, but I didn’t feel like it would properly represent my excitement.
The announcement that she’ll be playing at The Colosseum for the next twenty four months comes on the heels of what has been an incredible past year for Shania! Re-married? Check. Top selling book? Check! Successful reality show? Check! Hollywood Walk of Fame? Check!
But heads up, even though the run is two years, she’ll only be playing sixty shows a year, so you can expect those tickets to be snatched up faster than you can say “betrayed by my best friend.”
As soon as I read this news, I knew my life’s mission was clear: To see Shania in Vegas. This has to happen. This will happen. I promise this will not be a whole Garth Brooks incident all over again.
