It seems hard to believe that it’s already been a year since we elected Justin Trudeau as Prime Minister of Canada. And while there’s no arguing that he’s certainly getting better media attention than likely any Prime Minister before him, is the shine of a Mr. Trudeau wearing off?
I don’t think anyone’s regretting the massive votes that put him in the office in the first place, but it was interesting to see Rick Mercer’s latest rant in which he’s pretty critical of some of the Liberal’s government decisions lately. And I guess rightly so. But more than anything, the rant reminds me how much of a national treasure Rick Mercer really is. Sure he probably is a left-leaning voter, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be critical of all sides of the government.
