The TV season has barely even started and Canadian viewers got quite the shock this morning.
In a special video shot in Rick’s infamous alley, the extremely popular TV host announced this morning that this season of the Rick Mercer Report will be his last!
Yup, after 15 seasons, Rick Mercer is ending his show, which will premiere it’s final season Tuesday night on CBC.
So what’s next for Mercer. Â Well, in the video he says “I don’t know.” But I would personally be surprised if this was the end of his tenure at CBC. Let’s be honest, Rick is the CBC. Â Although at the end of the video, Mercer does allude to spending a lot more time in Newfoundland. And can you blame him? Â Newfoundland is the best.
