The Polaris Music Prize Long List was announced on Thursday. Â The prize recognizes the best in Canadian music and this year, surprisingly, I’ve heard of most of the nominees! This is a huge improvement that over the last few years, I obviously owe a huge debt of gratitude to CBC Radio 3 for introducing me to so many of these acts!
