This weekend, if you’re looking for a spooky good time in Calgary there are hundreds of parties going on, but what about parties with a conscience? If you want to party with a cause, here are six Halloween activities hoping raise a scary amount of money, all for great causes!

Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday, October 31st from 6-10pm.

Halloween lovers are invited to brave a zombie apocalypse in order to save humanity, while helping local charities. Up to 7,000 attendees are expected to explore this eerie attraction, enthusiastically created and produced by volunteers.Admission is free, but donations of $10 per person for Oops-a-Dazy Rescue and Sanctuary Society and a bag of food for the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank are strongly encouraged. This year’s goal is to raise $10,000 for Oops-a-Dazy Rescue and Sanctuary Society and 10,000 pounds of food for the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank.

A giant zombie world record flash mob…supporting the Calgary Inter-faith Food Bank!

Hundreds of Calgarians in elaborate zombie costumes will sync up with cities around the globe to set a new world record — all doing the Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’ dance at exactly the same second.
The event is totally free to take part in or to come watch and an epic family-friendly Halloween experience. They are also part of the ParticipACTION movement, encouraging physical activity in youth, and the event is an Inter Faith Food Bank drive too.
