After years of waiting, and I mean literally years, Canadians can now finally stream Parks and Recreation, and Roseanne too actually. I’m most excited about Parks and Recreation because I loved that show so much when it was on, and since it went off air, it’s never fully been available to stream in Canada. Back when we had Shomi, remember Shomi? I loved Shomi, they only had the first four or so seasons, but never the complete series.

But as of recently, Canadians can now stream Parks and Recreation in its entirety on Amazon Prime.  I should have written this as soon as I saw that it was available, but I got too excited and watched seasons six and seven.  And, let me tell you, if you haven’t seem those episodes recently, they basically predicted the whole Trump/Hilary thing, to the point where it’s sorta upsetting. But hey, Parks and Recreation is still Parks and Recreation!

So go ahead and Treat Yo Self!

The other good news is that Roseanne is finally available too. I can’t remember if this has ever been able to stream before, I don’t think so. And the timing couldn’t be more perfect as the show is being rebooted with new episodes in a few weeks, plenty of time to catch up and confuse yourself all over again with the different Beckys.

Other new series on the streaming service include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order UK, House, Emerald City, Jay Leno’s Garage, NCIS, Heroes, Heroes Reborn.

My fingers are crossed that we might soon see ER there, as it’s about to start streaming on Hulu in the States and we don’t have that here.

Fingers crossed!
