If there is one thing every Canadian should know about wildlife it’s that you shouldn’t mess with it. Don’t feed wild animals, don’t get close to them, those are pretty much the rules of nature.
Sadly, YouTube user Beth-Ann Colebourne never got that memo. Last month, she posted a video of her following around a wild lynx in her hometown of Terrence Bay.
Now, I get it. Wild animals are so cool and I would probably be tempted too, but I can barely predict what my cat is going to do, let alone a giant, wild animal.
According to the page, Beth is hoping the video helps get attention for Furget-me-not Animal Shelter, is obviously a great cause…but maybe there’s a safer and better way to do it?
Or maybe I’m overreacting, maybe this is a thing people do Terrence Bay. Maybe it’s normal to follow wild cats around. If so, can they come to Calgary to teach me a thing or two?
