I know I’m back in Calgary for the next couple of days, but this next story is enough to get me back on the plane to Toronto!
THE SOUND OF MUSIC is celebrating it’s 1st Anniversary at the Princess of Wales of Theatre TODAY! And the whole cast of the show will be celebrating down in Nathan Phillips Square with a FREE CONCERT today at 12:30pm!
Along with the uber-talented cast, there is going to be nuns. Lots and lots of nuns. Because those attending are invited to get into the Sound of Music habit and participate in the biggest gathering of non-nun nuns ever yet seen in Nathan Phillips Square! The first 99 people who come on Friday dressed as nuns (or reasonable facsimiles) will receive a free pair of tickets to the October 31 evening performance of the show.
Are you kidding me with this? I can’t believe I’m going to miss more than 100 people running around in habits? I know Torontonians have probably seen weirder, but not this kid!
