I’ve been lucky enough to travel to lots of places around this great country.  Every city seems to have their big events that are known around the world, but beside the Calgary Stampede, no one is really ever talking about Calgary’s.

It seems it’s just easier to say that there is nothing to do here, then actually looking for something do to. And I’ll admit, I’m guilty of wishing bigger things for Calgary.

But in my new Metro column, I talk about how thanks to some really cool new-ish festivals, my perspective on this city’s coolness has really been changing!
