Is anyone else really looking forward to seeing the movie Bully? It’s the documentary that will soon be released in theatres, but not without a little controversy. You see, the movie currently has an R rating, which is shockingly stupid, considering that it is a documentary and all the film does is show what is happening in our high schools. How are we supposed to start to change bullying, if the people who should be seeing the movie, can’t even see it because it’s restricted. It’s absolutely stupid.
I could go on forever, but it’s 2012, you have a shortened attention span, I get it.
As a part of the video, Mike’s Bloggity Blog favourite Mike Tompkins has released the official music video for the controversial movie. As always, his songs are made only using the noises his mouth makes, this video is especially impressive because you almost forget that there are absolutely no instruments. In one of his earlier videos, Mike talks about how he himself was bullied when he was in school and how important it was for him to make this music video.
Watch it and see for yourself. It’s a powerful video that I admit brought tears to my eyes and a chill down my spine.
I can’t wait to see Bully and I can’t wait for the discussion that the movie will hopefully provoke.
In case you missed it, here is the trailer for Bully. Note, it’s not easy to watch.

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on numerous websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
I like this post, enjoyed this one regards for putting up. “To the dull mind all nature is leaden. To the illumined mind the whole world sparkles with light.” by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Great post. I am facing a couple of these problems.
