Do you use ITUNES?

If so, you better start downloading your music now!

Starting tomorrow (april 7th), Itunes will be charging $1.29 for most of it’s singles.
That is a 30% increase.  Yikes.
I am a faithful buyer of must but breaking through that .99 cent barrier will be a little harder for me.  So buy your music tonight!  Even if it’s that horribly cheesy The Climb song by Miley Cyrus, which I CANNOT stop listening to.  I called A&E and they are sending over the intervention crew to see what the can do.  Fingers crossed
But back to the music.  The price hike is interesting.  If the money is going to the artists, that’s great.  If it’s going to Apple?  That’s less great.  The music industry is in trouble, making music (that many get for free anyway) more expensive, I don’t know how that’s going to help things.
I know that I will still buy music, I’ll feel more guilty for it.
UPDATE:  I hate it when I’m wrong.  According to my Itunes the changes haven’t effected Canadian prices yet.  It’s just in the states.  But let’s be honest, it’s only a matter of time…..
