We still have a couple of months to go until the already amazing Where The Wild Things Are movie, so we’ll have to find something else to occupy our childhood memories until then.

I think Robert Munsch will do the trick.
I’ve actually never been to the  TELUS World of Science here in Calgary,  but with the opening of their new exhibit, Much More Munsch, that is about to change all of that!
The exhibit was inspired by Canada’s most treasured children’s author and my second favorite.  Not even the author of Millicent and The Wind, Mortimer, Mortimer and Love You Forever can top Roald Dahl. But Munsch is definitely a close second.
While the exhibit is technically  “designed” for families and children under twelve, it will definitely not stop me from re-living some of my favorite childhood books.
The exhibit let’s you experience what  it’s like to walk into one of Robert Munsch’s famous stories.  This is a good idea until you remember the Munsch wrote the bathroom classic, I Have To Go!

You can also check out other interactive exhibit components, like sitting in Munsch’s living room, read his fan mail and discover his unpublished stories!   I would also like to browse his internet search history, but that may be off limits.
The exhibit runs all summer until September 10th!
I anticipate going 13 times.
Anyone want to lend me their kids?
