I’ve always heard that I am impossible to buy Christmas gifts for. I don’t really know how that is possible because sometimes I think this blog is really just an extended Christmas Wish List that is updated daily.

But ’tis the season, so I thought to make it easier, for the next little bit I would let you know some of the gifts that I hope to find under my tree this year!  I guess it is kinda like Oprah’s favourite things but you don’t get anything.  That’s fun, right?

Here are my first two strongly recommended gift suggestions.

1. $10 DJ
How much do you spend on a gift?  Normally I would expect you to spend more than $10 but if it gets me 25 songs, I would find that completely reasonable.  Starting on Tuesday, Itunes Canada will feature the $10 DJ. It’s being billed “the ultimate music curator and perfect digital music companion to any event.” Ten Dollar DJ provides you with 25 classic tracks by some of the world’s top artists bringing musical life to your event, for only $10. Some of the themes for the playlists include: The Wedding Ceremony,  Christmas Cocktails, R&B Cocktail Party,The Wedding Dinner, Smooth Christmas, Cottage-Weekend, 90s Dance Party, Canada Day, Fitness Disco Funk, Dinner For Two.  This might be the easiest gift ever.

Kitchen Scraps
This gift will surely be a huge surprise to everyone that knows me.  Mike, cooking? Yeah, I’m surprised too!  Kitchen Scraps is a cook book by Pierre Lamille, a Calgary illustrator & food writer.  If I’m being honest, I probably won’t use the book for the recipes but just to browse at Lamielle’s cool drawings.  The book seems to be somewhere between Martha Stewart and Stan Lee.  A cool cook book?  Hey, it’s worth a try! You can pick it up for me on Amazon.

Mike Morrison

  1. An impressive share, I simply given this onto a colleague who was doing somewhat analysis on this. And he the truth is bought me breakfast because I discovered it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love studying more on this topic. If attainable, as you change into expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Massive thumb up for this weblog post!

  2. This web site is really a walk-through for all of the info you wanted about this and didn’t know who to ask. Glimpse here, and you’ll definitely discover it.
