You know what I love about summer?  The street festivals.  No matter what city you live in, the almost weekly festival flood city’s streets with people, dogs and luckily, lots of food.

But surely I’m not the only to notice that there seems to be a lot of people who are intent on ruining it for everyone else, mainly: parents and dog owners.

Gasp.  How dare I, right?

Wrong.  Let’s be honest, a street filled with 100,000 people isn’t safe for dogs and it certainly isn’t any place for Hummer-sized strollers.

Thus is the subject of this week’s Metro column.  Agree?  Disagree?

Click here to read it, don’t worry, I’ve already taken cover.
