“Well that is the sad part, the stupid part of it, where its like ‘damn it I am an American and if I get sick I can take care of myself, shock and awe, I will just shock and awe that cancer out of me. But the other part of it is that there is some racism involved, because those who are the have-nots, those who are the poorest in our society, are unfortunately people of colour, and a lot of angry white guys, you saw them on the news this weekend, don’t want to help out those who are hurting. So that its the tragic part of who we are, and its deep in our history. We haven’t quite exorcized ourselves of it even though we did a great thing a year and a half ago by electing Barack Obama.”
