In this week’s Metro column, I take on the controversial issue of keeping junk food out of schools.

It was announced this week that the Calgary Board of Education will soon be taking out candy from all of their schools by 2012.

While initially taking out the sweet stuff from the halls, that are littered with teenagers every day, makes sense.  I think schools across Canada are also going to have to deal with some pretty dire consequences….
