This week’s Metro column is about complaining.  Simply put, why do we do it so much?  It’s not like I wrote it thinking I’m completely innocent of complaining, sometimes you just got to vent.  But I’ve been feeling lately that anytime something is announced, our gut reaction is to think about what’s wrong with it?  How can we complain about, without ever thinking about the positive.  And I’m not sure this a healthy path to go down.

The two main issues Calgary likes to complain about the most are the new Peace Bridge and the new Compost program.  Seriously, how can people complain about a beautiful bridge that will bring in tourist dollars and a program that takes care of something that we know we should be doing, but not enough of us are!  But fear not, if there’s a will, there’s a way…to complain about it.
