After years of debating and constructing, the west LRT in Calgary is finally set to open. For those who don’t know, Calgary has an above ground subway-like system and when the West leg opens officially on Monday, it’ll serve thousands of Calgary who would normally have bused or drove to the downtown core. It’s project that is literally years in the making.

For this week’s Metro column, I thought it would be nice to offer up some tips for people who perhaps have never taken the CTrain before. I mean, you think you know what to do, but as someone who takes it quite a bit, you learn how to make the most of your trip…without having someone spit on you.

Check out this week’s column and be sure to add your own tips!
