This week’s Metro column is about light pollution.   I know, I know, we have a lot of bigger things than light pollution to deal with, but it was just announced that in a few weeks, the city of Calgary will be holding public hearings on how to deal with new projects, when it comes to light energy.

Calgary has been recently declared as one of the brightest cities in North America, which is kinda depressing when you think about that we are only a city of one million.

But because we are so bad at causing light pollution, is exactly why I think we can fix it so easily. I spent some time researching this column and found some easy ways that we can fix this problem, without living in the complete dark.
