If you still haven’t purchased Metric’s Synthetica album, your music collection is definitely missing one of my favourite albums of the year. Time and time again, Metric is able to produce great pop-rock songs and this album is proof that it is no fluke.
Even better than their music, are their live shows, which are always packed with energetic fans, screaming every lyric has lead singer Emily Haines masterfully controls the stage. That very energy is captured perfectly in band’s new video for the single Breathing Underwater. A mash up of some of the band’s shows from around the world, it might be exactly what you need to get your through a ho-hum kinda day.
