Metric is playing in Calgary tonight and I’m so freaking excited.  They are a playing a live acoustic show for X 92.9 and myspace winners at the Grand, and the buzz is that this show is going to be insane.  Like Lindsay Lohan insane.Â
I will of course be there and have a  full review tomorrow morning!  I’m especially pumped because this is one of Canada’s biggest groups going right now and it’s only a matter of time before they start playing sold out stadiums.  The momentum behind Metric is something we haven’t seen in Canadian music in a long time. Their newest CD, Fantasies, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Heat Seekers chart, as well as #8 on the Canadian Albums chart.  I really feel like this is going to be concert to remember.
