Can I call a hit or can I call a hit!? Showcase has just announced that the debut of their new show Lost Girl slayed more than 400,000 viewers on Sunday! Okay, it doesn’t sound like a lot, but It was enough to make Lost Girl the highest-rated Canadian scripted series premiere of all time on Showcase!
The record was previously held by Syfy co-production, Haven which attracted 334,000 viewers only a few weeks back on July 12, 2010.
So what does that mean for our little Fae named Bo? Well it doesn’t necessarily guarantee a second season order, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. Especially if the numbers hold out for the remaining twelve episodes.
Looks like Lost Girl is going to be yet another Canadian success story. Now if it could just get picked up in the states!
Make sure you watch the show’s second episode this Sunday!
Your style is so unique compared to many other people. Thank you for publishing when you have the opportunity,Guess I will just make this bookmarked.2
