Annnnd he’s back!

City and Colour (also known as Dallas Green) has released a new single…and it’s awesome.

Truthfully, I don’t know the last time I was so relieved to hear new music from an artist. That’s right, relieved. You see, the last time I chatted with Green, I was a little worried that we’d never hear new music from him again, or at least anytime soon.

So imagine my surprise and satisfaction when it was announced last week that a new album, The Hurry & The Harm, would be released on June 4th.

There will be more details on the album soon, but for now, let’s get to the single Thirst, which is an update rock meets funk song that will seemingly be stuck in your head after only one lease. Go ahead, I dare you, try to listen once and not have that awesome beat in your head.

If the song hasn’t exactly quenched your thirst for City and Colour music, you can also listen and download for free another new song from the album. Of Space and Time will definitely have you remembering why you fell in love with Dallas Green in the first place!

Welcome back Dallas Green, I’m glad you never really left.

  2. Hi, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, fantastic blog!
