This morning on CBC Radio’s Eyeopener, the Unconventional Panel reconvened for a special summer edition featuring myself, The Globe and Mail’s Shelley Youngblut and Calgary business leader George Brookman.

The topic up for debate today was the Olympics, more specifically, how much money is spent on the games and are they even worth it. It was a lively debate because I think we all came at it from different angles and there are certainly different opinions based on our previous Olympic memories.

Of note, Only a few hours after we did the radio segment, CBC announced that they had won the rights to air the 2014 and 2015 Olympics for an undisclosed amount. Although knowing today’s media, it won’t be undisclosed for long.

  2. I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.

  3. I cling on to listening to the newscast talk about receiving boundless online grant applications so I have been looking around for the top site to get one. Could you advise me please, where could i get some?
