Wanna watch the Kings of Leon’s UK concert with me? I’ll be wearing my pajamas, but you can wear whatever you want.
Maybe I should explain.
This Friday, Kings of Leon will be the 13th band to participate in the American Express Unstaged live stream series. If you’ve never watched an Unstaged concert, they are the best. Because it’s live, you get all the perks of a real concert, like amazing music and a fantastic stage show, but you get to do it from the comfort of your home, which means no line-ups for the washroom, reasonably priced drinks and not getting stuck behind the world’s tallest man. Additionally, the Unstaged experience means you get to choose and change the camera that you’d like to watch the concert from, there’s even one that will give you a 360 degree view from the stage, you actually get to see what Kings of Leon sees. Like I said, this might be better than being at the concert itself.
Another cool aspect of the concert is that it’s always directed by a famous director and this time is no exception, as Fred Armisen (SNL, Portlandia) will be directing the concert.
So, I’ll be watching this Friday and you should too, don’t worry, there’s lots of ways to watch, even if you’re on the road. Fans can watch via YouTube’s iOS and Android apps as well as its mobile website, VEVO’s apps for iPhone, iPad and Xbox 360, and on the American Express Channel, available through the app on LG connected TVs.
The Unstaged experience is just another example of how American Express is more than just a credit card. Whether it’s offering unique concert experiences like this one or Front of the Line access to buy tickets to see the biggest stars in the world, if you’re an entertainment junkie like myself, it’s definitely helpful to have Amex card in your wallet!
