There’s probably no bigger event every year in Canada than Tim Horton’s Roll Up The Rim. You may think about Canada or even Christmas, but we’re all guilty of standing in ridiculous lines at the donut shop in hopes of rolling up a winning rim.
My favourite part of Roll Up The Rim is watching how people actually roll up their cup’s rim. Some people use their fingers and pull, others use scissors or just rip it all together. But me? I’m a teeth-roller. I clinch on to the rim and nibble my way across as if I was Bugs Bunny. It may look unconventional but to me, it’s the best way to ensure that I don’t rip, tear or destroy my possible winning cup.
Does it help? No, not really. I don’t think I’ve ever won anything more than a coffee or a donut. But winner’s of Roll Up The Rim are somewhat like urban legends in Canada. We all know someone who knows someone that has won something, it’s just never us.
So how do you roll up your rim?
You are my inspiration , I have few blogs and infrequently run out from to post .
